Wow that's a good price. I bought last Black Friday at the previous historic low of $149.99. It's a nice set and about same price as just buying TNG on Blu-ray alone, so might as well pickup the show, the movies, S3 of Picard and the spare coasters for your beverage lol. Nice book inside too.
Jeez Louise... why? WHY did I have to see this sale! I guess I'll upgrade my TNG from DVD to Blu-ray. And I guess I'll have to own Picard S1-3 on Blu-ray. BUT, I already have the 4 films on 4K. And where am I going to put this behemoth display box?
Thanks OP... now I have to sneak this past my wife!
That's ~162 discs, and it still doesn't get you every captain.
DS9 and Voyager have never gotten an actual Blu-ray release — Paramount didn't preserve the effects elements in a way that supports an HD remaster, so Sisko and Janeway are stuck on DVD forever (48 + 47 discs). Add those in and you're at ~257 discs to own every captain and show, just split across two formats.
All you guys talking about drink coasters, I thought you just meant the discs of episodes you don't like... but I see it actually does include Chateau Picard coasters (and a deck of playing cards).
