I prefer Hunter since it came with my house and lasted 20+ years. I recently bought a similar renewed model from Amazon that ended up being shipped directly from Hunter. Everything looked brand new when I inspected it. Ran it all summer with zero issues. Cool deal

Can confirm, I got this fan from Costco last month on sale for $100. It's working great so far, and the low profile makes a real difference. As you mentioned, this one from Amazon is renewed, so I guess YMMV applies.
