This small USB desk fan is best for quiet airflow and white noise at a low price. It runs pretty silently, works well near a computer, and fits as a simple office or desk replacement. The touch controls can be annoying because turning it off from the highest setting takes three presses, and USB power is less convenient than a regular outlet. A switch would make it easier to live with.

I had an extra noctua fan. Purchased a desk fan mount for 120mm fan. Then a 5v usb fan controller that has a little dial. 3m the dial to base of fan mount. Works great and the noctua fan is silent. Just contemplating adding a noctua fan grill for another $15 bucks. But I like the open fan look.
