You wouldn't. Probably need a minimum of 1 Apple device to buy and the Apple TV app on a smart TV, Roku, Google TV Streamer or other Android-based streaming device to watch.

Even though this is a good deal - If you buying Electronic Media you have to make sure you are buying into the library service. Many Apple media buys only are available on Apple services, similar to Amazon & Microsoft too, They each run independent library services. I subscribe to the MoviesAnywhere & Vudu/Fandango Services and many MoviesAnywhere/not all - through account linkages can be viewed on most all of the other services Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft; Except for TV series which MoviesAnywhere does not support. (maybe someday). But if your starting out, without a commitment to a library your going to find your purchases are not available in many places - I call them orphaned from the collection (and I have a few) And remembering which movies/TV series is which service is not easy / frustrating when you want to watch a movie/tv series

While I agree with your take on this, mentioning MA on this post was pointless because, as far as I know, there are no TV shows that are MA.
