When I received mines, there was a problem with the video switch that would force the camera to stop recording when lightly touched so definitely check every single aspect of the camera thoroughly if you decide to purchase this as you only have a two week window to return it for a full refund before you can only get it repaired.

The link to Nikon is an endless loop that never actually takes me to the Nikon site to order.

The link is working fine on my end. Maybe it will work if you copy and paste it from below. Also, if you have an adblocker installed it might help to disable it or try in a different browser.

I had one and recently sold it. Terrible battery life, and mine really struggled finding and keeping focus. Based on reviews it sounds like the Z50ii is significantly better. Even at $450 I think I'd pass on this one

This happens sometimes, you have to keep trying, maybe with different browser.

I paid $630 or $650 for the Z50II refurb. Since it's for wildlife the Expeed 7 is a must.

While this does come with a (slow kit) lens, you can find that lens for $100 if you really want it. Trade in is like $70. So it's still $300 more for the Z50II.

Z50II has the same terrible battery life.

Where on earth did you find Z50ii refurb that cheap? Just on Nikon's site (but is never in stock)?

I got this the last time around. Not sure about others complaining- Mine was perfect! Battery life is excellent and EVERYTHING works fine! Great little camera. I also got a 7.5mm manual fisheye lens for about $140 to go with it and really like it!

Got this for the same price a couple of months ago. Total newbie. Still learning to use it but the camera and lense were like new. In fact, I ran it through the website that tells you the shutter count and it was 11. Probably factory testing. No issues at all. Got a like new 50-250 lens from MBP for like $250 on the way.

Are these type of cameras really relevant anymore for normal day to day life or occasional photography considering how good cell phone cameras are these days. For example my iphone 17 pro max takes exceptional photos.
