Good price if you need one now and don't have access to the LG partner store. I'm holding out for a lower price. Hoping the spyware controversy and the C6 being a mostly meh upgrade from the C5 means the discount will be even better later on.

Good idea to get this TV from LG partner store for 1260 if perpendicular to a large screen door that gets some direct sunlight in the afternoon? I do have sheer curtains though

Even the Ethernet port is old 100mbps. Why would you need 6E or faster Ethernet on the TV? 4k UHD only uses a max of ~25mbps, and often closer to 17.
