This dishwasher cleaner is mainly valued for convenience and a strong cleaning effect, with a citric acid formula that leaves the tub smelling clean after use. The scent can linger for a few cycles, and the chemical fragrance is strong enough that trying one first makes sense before stocking up. The coupon and Subscribe and Save pricing appear inconsistent, and the discounted 4 pack still costs more than buying bulk citric acid. It is a handy option when the dishwasher needs a deeper refresh.
Common Questions (4)
It can leave a noticeable chemical or clean scent after use, and the odor may linger on dishes for a few cycles. The smell usually fades after a few runs, but it is strong enough that trying one first is a good idea if you are sensitive to fragrances.
It is described as citric acid with blue water and synthetic fragrance, so the cleaning action can be replicated more cheaply with food-grade citric acid. The convenience is the main reason to buy this product instead of a bulk citric acid bag.
It is reported to clean the dishwasher very well and leave a clean smell. For routine use, it is often used only every few months, with the lingering scent not being a deal breaker.
The coupon appears to apply to the 4-pack and can drop it to $9.58, but it may show up and disappear on the listing. It also seems to require not selecting Subscribe & Save for the coupon to apply.
