I consider the G305 to be the gold standard for basic wireless mice. It's better than 90% of the cheap wireless mice and those bundled with keyboards, and it has the right size and dimensions for all day usage. It's not right for users who need a bunch of macro switches or high-end gaming features, but it's a crowd pleaser and fairly reliable, long term. I have worn out the left mouse button on one of these, and used 2 others for my desktop and laptop(s) for mostly work and some occasional gaming.

Beware Amazon resale however. I have very mixed experiences. Test your mouse thoroughly to make sure they don't send you garbage. Amazon doesn't seem to test returns. I've been sent many DOA items.
