I bought this in December. It does not have tip-over protection. (It doesn't say that it does; I assumed as it looked so much like another Lasko heater I have). But, it has a remote and a timer - which I always use in case and works really well. Buying a used heater makes me a little nervous. . Great price though!

Does not have tip over protection confirmed on the questions on the link. Why any large manufacturer would not put this on a heater that is like a tower is beyond me. I had one similar few years ago that I tested in garage and it is still very capable of melting the floor or still starting a fire even with over heat protection.
