I mean with the amount of returns people do because of the trash items they sell I wouldn't be surprised.

Bought myself 2x of these in the purple colorway almost a year ago for less than this price. Oh my, how times have changed.

FYI this is not the one compatible with the Switch. 8BitDo really needs to fix the controller names.

i mean... it says what its compatible with on the listings on the sites, they clearly say Switch Version, PC Version on separate pages.

Yeah but I got excited to get another one near the woot discount price from the other week, and then got really excited about purple, then looked at the button layout and then got clued in on there are two different version. 8BitDo Ultimate 2 which is not compatible with Switch and 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth which is, I'm just saying, the naming leaves a bit to be desired, but I guess if it says "bluetooth" then it's Switch compatible, or so far I have found.

I feel you on this. The Pro 2/3 make sense. The Ultimate line though… there are C and E variants - S as well? Bluetooth and 2.4 ghz variants l. I believe the Rare 40th and a couple others are listed as three way (wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4). I believe there are a couple Ultimate 3s out now, too.

I have the Pro 3 and Nintendo 40th (Ultimate 2 variant). I want an Ultimate variant with the swappable ABXY, like the Pro 3. As a PC/Switch person, the swappable buttons are brilliant. I just want the Xbox/Switch Pro ergonomics, not PlayStation. And all of this to say, do not call it a Pro 4 or Ultimate 4. Make a new name. The website has three distinct sections - Xbox, Bluetooth, and 2.4 ghz. There should be at least that many more name splits.

It isn't quite that simple. This version does work for Switch, but you need to use the usb dongle
