Anyone have experience with the actual condition of these "like new" controllers from Amazon Resale?

Be aware these can't power on the Switch 2.

Given the fact that my Switch Pro Controller developed stick drift after like six months and I had to buy another one...I would not trust anything marked "used".

That stinks. I've been using a Pro Controller for a few years now and haven't had that happen with mine. Knock on wood. I generally agree with the sentiment about buying certain things used (like controllers) though.

My main concern with buying used Pro controllers would be the chance of receiving a knockoff. Lots of knockoffs that are really close to the original.

More so from Amazon because they don't check or care.

Do they do a good job of cleaning off the dorito crumbs and mountain dew residue from these?

I have not bought this controller specifically, but when Amazon Resale has a big stock of something like this (enough to warrant sharing it on SlickDeals!), I find it is usually because a bunch of boxes were damaged, but the product itself may have never been used. I generally trust them in those cases, but I also don't mind returning products if I'm disappointed!

8bitdo is far superior for Nintendo than any official controller. Until Hall effect sticks are standard I will never buy another official controller from any of the 3 major gaming systems

Do they use the same drop in stick modules like the switch Joyce's? If so you can get two replacement sticks with hall effect or tmr (essentially never get stick drift again) for like $15 on Amazon.

I replaced one pair of switch joycons with them, it's very easy if it's the same, just unscrew the controller, take out the ribbon, and attach the new ones.
