This is a very cheap 80 20 ground beef deal that works best for stocking the freezer or making burgers, meatballs, and other everyday meals. The price has landed as low as $1 per pound with coupons, and orders have also hit the $25 grocery minimum for free Prime shipping by adding milk, juice, or other staples. Availability is regional and the max is 5 pounds. Freshness and quality have generally been fine, though there are concerns about unclear origin, packaging, and occasional tougher pieces.
Common Questions (5)
Availability is regional and can vary by city or even nearby ZIP code. It has shown as available in places like South Florida, Boston, Seattle, Los Angeles, and the SF Bay Area, while others saw it sold out or not available at all.
The purchase limit is 5 lbs. Prime shipping is free on grocery orders of $25 or more, and the threshold can be met with other grocery items, not just the beef.
Reported checkout totals ranged from about $5 for 5 lbs with a stacked 50% coupon to $13 for 5 lbs with shipping, and some orders landed around $22 with other groceries included. The deal can also trigger extra coupons when you add items for same-day delivery.
Many buyers describe it as comparable to store-brand tube ground beef and say it cooks normally for burgers, meatballs, and broiling. A few report hard bits like cartilage or bone, so quality can vary by pack.
Orders have arrived with use/freeze dates about a week out, and some buyers froze all 5 packs after delivery. Packaging has been described as paper bags lined with foil, sometimes with frozen water bottles, but no ice packs are always included.

Pink slime is a common name for Lean Finely Textured Beef (LFTB), a low-cost meat filler added to ground beef and processed meat products.
No criticism if you buy it and eat it. This is only update to something I think people should be aware of. Just search for
Pink slime or LFTB to find out what you want.
