This was the worst writing of anything Star Wars - by a landslide

I have appreciation for every single movie and series from the 70's until today but the script work of this movie is uniquely awful

Non-spoiler: Jabba the hut's nephew is a good guy... and they shoehorned scenes where he literally TELLS YOU that he's a good guy every few minutes

Also the action doesn't match the series: in the series the Mandalorian can take out a few bad guys by himself - in this movie he can seemingly take out 100 at once like a bad 70's king fu movie

This is really a made-for-television feature film. You need to have watched the series to understand the plot. I don't know if this is worth $25. Put that money toward a future Andor box set.

I'm with you. It was disappointing. It was two episodes slapped together. I have a soft spot for it though.

Amazon is matching Barnes & Noble, FYI. Sadly no in store pickup available near me.

And ignore the naysayers; if you like the show, then you'll like this movie. Sure, I wish we would've gotten seasons 4 & 5 instead, but still it's more Mando. I have spoken.

Absolute dog đź’©"movie". Dave Filoni continues to prove that all of the faith put in him was misplaced.

My favorite line from Rotta is- "what kind of man would I be...."

You're not a man. You're a Hutt. Literally a space slug. Just goofy, bad writing.
