These bulbs SUCK!!!
I had wanted to install in a garage to have the lights come on when someone entered the garage from either the house or from a side door. That was the plan. I was hopeful they would work great as they said they were 100W equivalent light bulbs. Two 100W lightbulb's, at 5k temperature should really light a small two car garage.
At most, these are equivalent to a 40 watt light bulb and the temp if about 3k - not 5k white brightness.
The sensor: The literature within the box does say the ideal height is 10-13 feet. I don't know of too many residential garages that are 10+ feet high (certainly not 13 feet unless your garage is a barn) nor are most light fixtures by an entrance door higher than 10 feet. So, in my low 8 foot height garage...you practically had to be within two feet of directly underneath the light for it to notice you there.
So, between the poor light output and the inadequate sensor - these are going back.

On the product page for these other motion sensor lights, you can see a few user photos of folks using them in their garage and shed. Some drawbacks (compared to the bulbs for this deal) are that you'll need to recharge them every so often and their light output is only 500 lumens compared to 1000 lumens for these bulbs.
I don't have any experience with these suggested lights. Just wanted to pass on this information.
