Consistent 80-100fps handheld, but locked at 60fps while docked. I have a 120hz oled so it's not the TVs fault.

I don't know about switch price history but I think this goes on sale on steam for 10-12 dollars regularly.

Assuming you mean Switch 2. IIRC fps is locked to 60 @ 4K resolution. So either that's your issue or maybe your hdmi cable is the issue.
