Used a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric impact (300 ft-lbs after 12 sec) on a 1989 Prelude. No problem. Mfr posts these BS breakaway torque spec for marketing purpose. Electric and air impacts provide the most stable output. I always use heat if the situation requires more than 300 ft-lbs.
