I've bought like 12-15 actual metal ammo cans (30 and 50 cals) and went through the entire research for buying ammo cans to store ammo with desiccant packages, and I wrote off ALL plastic ammo cans after feeling them in person. 0% chance its an actual seal, ESPECIALLY with anything in them. may keep splashed water off them, but air WILL get past that weak lip and "rubber gasket". Do not expect these to be air tight for a year, or be sturdy, as they WILL explode in winter time if bumped, so keep them inside, or use them for generic storage in a shed, but not for precious ammo / hard drives/ anything you NEED a guaranteed tight seal for desiccant use.

But TBH most people (and myself) are going to move individual cans, then the tray, afterwards resituating everything back in the tray if they are going to be relocating the entire setup. For example from their house to their car....for a range trip or Red Dawn type of event

I can't see the plastic being an issue if you have the space indoors, where it's climate controlled 24/7. I have some old MTM with desiccant packs and I haven't noticed any problems.
I currently have stuff separated in whatever bins or boxes i pick up along the way and just write on them with brand. but when you're looking at roughly 11 "standard capacity" "pez dispensers" per can, or 6+ "pez dispenser" per model of "freedom projector", storage starts getting interesting and messy.
like maybe one can for spaghetti 92/90-two noodle holders, another couple cans for Pez99/PezPezQuickM1, another couple for PezPezQuickM2/PersonalDispenser,Pez, etc.

This is a much different use for these bins, but how about for Sports Cards?
Card Collectors are always looking for good storage bins since ones designated "Card Bins" can be expensive!
Graded Cards (Slabbed) need bigger bins, so would these fit in these storage bins?
And cards in "Top-loaders" (plastic holders) these are not too big and might fit great in these bins?
