Saw these in person recently - they have a nice heavy build quality but are of too odd shape/size for me to think of anything to use them for outside of munitions/prepper purposes.

I assume these are true to the dimensions of a traditional .30 cal ammo box?

They're just a bit smaller than a USGI ammo can. No mention of weight capacity though. If you put 10# or 15# of hardware or shotgun shells in each bin will the tray be up to the task of carrying 40# to 60#? I'm dubious.

These are sealed units (there's a silicone gasket the lid seals against). I picked up two sets on my recent trip. Seems like a good deal for ammo storage.

I've filled one complete with 9mm and it does fine. Now trying to carry 4 of those in the tray.. Good luck lol.
