This USB rechargeable candle lighter is a compact electric option for lighting candles and other small flame jobs, with a brush included to clear carbon buildup and easy cleaning. It has also been used successfully for gas stoves, propane, and melting poly nylon cord ends. The main drawbacks are wax gunk and carbon buildup, a high pitched sound, and the need to remember charging. Some similar units stopped working after a few weeks, and the coupon reportedly failed on the Sapphire Blue version.
People lighting candles and sealing cord ends, because it reliably lights candles and melts poly-nylon cordage to prevent fraying.
People who want a rechargeable lighter for occasional indoor use, because it can handle a few uses and still work as intended.
People who want an easy-to-clean lighter, because it is really easy to clean.
People who want a lighter that lasts for years without charging, because this needs charging and can make a high-pitched sound.
People lighting candles near sensitive ears, because the high-pitched sound can be clearly heard and disliked even outdoors.
People who need a lighter that stays reliable with frequent use, because these can get gunked up with wax and stop working.
People who need a lighter that keeps working for weeks, because similar units can stop working after a few weeks.
