This USB rechargeable candle lighter is a compact electric option for lighting candles and other small flame jobs, with a brush included to clear carbon buildup and easy cleaning. It has also been used successfully for gas stoves, propane, and melting poly nylon cord ends. The main drawbacks are wax gunk and carbon buildup, a high pitched sound, and the need to remember charging. Some similar units stopped working after a few weeks, and the coupon reportedly failed on the Sapphire Blue version.
The electric candle lighter can light candles and ignite propane as intended.
The lighter can melt poly or nylon cordage ends to help prevent fraying.
The lighter can be easy to clean during maintenance.
The included brush can help clean carbon buildup that may affect performance.
The electric candle lighter can get gunked up with wax and stop working.
The rechargeable electric candle lighter can stop working after only a few weeks.
The rechargeable version requires frequent charging and may not suit occasional use.
A coupon code may fail to apply to the Sapphire Blue option and the unit may be dead.
