Guys, while I hate when I'm reminded of the Sodium in things, you really need to look at this. It's a heart attack waiting to happen. 47% of daily recommendation.
No, not at all. You'd think so because of the pictures, just like I did.
I love ramen but this flavor is awful. It thought I'd be getting cheesy ramen noodles, instead you get plain noodles in a watery broth that is slightly yellow.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Unlike the thick cheese sauce in Mac and Cheese, this is a cheesy soup. It's not gourmet but certainly tasty enough for a 50¢ noodle cup. It also has a flat linguini-like noodle, which is a nice change of pace. One of my top 4 favorite flavors.

Not if you don't consume the soup. Most of the sodium is in the soup.
More importantly, however, is this reality that doctors are too lazy to tell you: Only 25-33% of healthy people sodium sensitive. About 50% people don't react to sodium at all, and about 15% have inverse sodium sensitivity. I am part of that 15%. I've eaten 2-3x the RDA all my adult life and I've never been hypertensive. Current BP is 109/72. But when I tried to eat a low salt diet, BP went up to >130/80.
In other words, unless you're part of that 25-33% who are sodium sensitive, you don't have to be paranoid about hypertension and heart attacks from sodium. However ... excess salt can damage the kidneys and brainstem, so moderating your sodium intake isn't a bad idea.
