Picked this up couple weeks ago when it was posted. My 10yo daughter was actually in the middle of making her very first sourdough bread starter so I thought it be cool to get her a "sourdough knife". Yes, we have other bread knives...it was more to support her enthusiasm, even IF it doesn't end up seeing much use 😁

It's *very* sharp and cuts well.

Her first boule turned out great! πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ˜…

My wife got into sourdough bread. Got a similar knife to this. It was better than the standard knives but still a hassle. Upgraded to a bread slicer with a serrated rotary blade with manual crank. Usually around $45+ but cut down slicing time and frustration significantly. Haven't used that knife since.

These suck. They will have a hard time getting through a crusty bread. Standard cheap (Mercer) bread knives will last much longer and are easier to use
