we have two sets from woot $20 each set, work great and highly recommend to get the guess work out of spacing if are stuffed in your garage. Didn't bolt them either just traced outline with chalk in case it moves and inch up to it. It stops the car that way too

Put a 2 ft 2x4 piece on the floor and then mark around it. One is all you need. Let it protrude far enough to the left to see it with the side window open as you approach if you want. If the board moves in time, you can re-align with the marks. Approach slow enough and it won't move. Been using that for years - works just fine. The benefit is that if you want the full floor unobstructed when the car is out, you just kick the 2x4 away and then replace it via the marks when you're done.

The extra benefit is that you save your 30 bux. nod

If you stop every day in garage within 2-3in of margin of error everyday, good for you and you should try a career in motorsports or stunt driving Smilie But I need that precision because we keep 2 cars in the garage (most Americans can't btw), our tools, bikes, a 10ft ladder, etc and full size roll-out trash and recycle bins. So I need my parking to be 2-3 inches of margin of error.

A small doll?! I hope you didn't traumatize your daughter. We've been using a tennis ball and a string. You should leave 2-3" distance from wall-bumper once the windshield hits the tennis ball.

I was sitting here thinking: don't all cars have rear cameras now since circa 2015? You see your bumper in the camera soooo... but then realized DOH! people park in the garage going forward. Here you go: another reason to properly back up into the garage.

This has been one of the best solutions in our garage. Takes the guess work out of parking in the right spot. Have never had an issue tripping over them (purchased something very similar on Amazon), definitely recommend.

Most folks still have gas powered cars and I find the exhaust builds up in the back of the garage if I back in. I back in our EV so the camera helps with that one.

I glue two cardboard cup holders (cut in half) you get from take out places to the wall. One for backing in and one for heading in. Once my outside mirror is aligned with the holder, I know I'm golden.

I've been using a tennis ball or one of those light plastic balls from my toddler's ball pit hung by a string. Works great.

Be nice to have but the price doesn't feel good enough to pick up a pair. When you use everything in your garage so you have nothing static to act as a gauge and you walk into anything that hangs low enough (i have 2 and run into them all the time), this is a nice option
