8XBA5EOX still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

I got it to work. Thanks. For some reason I had to delete it from my cart and add it again for the coupon to take.

Glad it went through finally. Amazon checkout seems to have a lot of problems with codes

I just need to know if it supports Samsung fast 45w charging before pulling the trigger. It seems like it should based on the listed wattage and that it does power delivery.

Bought this last time it was on sale. While it says 20000 mAh in the description, it has 55.75Wh (11150 mAh at 5 volts) printed on the back as its "rated capacity". That's much closer to 15000 mAh, and my capacity tests agreed. It's nearly 25 percent less than 20 Ah, and while it's still an acceptable deal for 15 Ah, it gave me ick that they'd lie so blatantly while having photos in reviews that show the truth. I returned it and am going to wait for a better known brand to reach near this price instead.

This seems to be the non-World Cup branded version https://a.co/d/01JbjuZn

Not to defend them, but I thought most other brands do the same type of marketing? that all 20mah marketed batteries are really closer to 15k?

Also, do you have a similar 20k power bank at similar price level ($34) with this level of output (~ 190w) and CCC certification? I'm in the market for one so i'd love to get a recommendation.

They're not lying, they're actually doing the opposite. They're just giving you more information. There's a difference between Cell Capacity and Rated Capacity. You are looking at Rated Capacity. Right above the line that says Rated Capacity, it says Cell Capacity is 73Wh, or around 20,000mAh at the nominal voltage of 21700 cells (3.7v).

They gave you a secondary line that says Rated Capacity because they are calculating a real use capacity by taking into account loss of efficiency due to heat and various other factors. This is normal for all batteries. You will not be able to utilize all of the cell capacity of the batteries as no battery is 100% efficient.

Unlike many other power banks, at least they gave you both figures. Rest assured, the power bank indeed contains 4x 5000mAh 21700 cells, so it is 20,000mAh at 3.7v or around 15000mAh at 5v or 73Wh. Your rated capacity at 55.75Wh is more realistic which gives you around 76% efficiency, quite a conservative estimate and fairly normal. All battery and power bank manufacturers label their products this way. You will not find any power banks labeled 20,000mAh where you can get all 100% of that capacity. Other brands just don't give you the calculated "Rated Capacity" figure at all.

It does say 11150mAh but it also says 73Wh and 4 X 5000mAh batteries. I haven't tested capacity per se but it does charge phones more than 4X.

Yeah most don't realize mah rating means essentially nothing without a voltage associated to it. Watt hours would be a better rating for these things. They have a 240w bank for $5 more but 12500mah rated yet it looks like it's 2x the size

This is a better deal than their similar 10,000 mAh that only supports unofficial modes over 100W.

BUT - People report on that mode severe heat throttling. My presumption is this is no different here.

So don't expect 140W or even 100W through the whole charge cycle. Mostly Anker, Baseus and INIU consistently have pulled that off - and mostly (almost only) on their premium units (737, B63, Blade - respectively).

I have tested every other power bank I own, none have ever given me 24 percent less than their advertised capacity. My worst one is labeled as 21 percent less, but it actually put out slightly more. My 10Ah banks are even more efficient, they put out only 16 percent less than advertised.

I just assumed it uses lifepo cells for the CCC label, since they're less energy dense in return for being much safer. I'm not planning on flying to China any time soon, so that label really isn't a big concern of mine. I'm more concerned about efficiency, and this battery is not as good as my Iniu 10Ahs, my Anker Zolo 10Ah, or my Insignia 26.8Ah. If I do end up flying in China, I will strongly consider this again.
