Available:Features:
  • Compressor Cooling Speed: Using compressor cooling, the 12V electric cooler can drop temps from 68°F/20°C to 32°F/0°C in about 20 minutes to help keep food fresh during travel. ECO mode supports efficient daily use, while MAX mode offers quicker cooling whenever needed on the road

  • Durable Exterior Layout: A matte finish gives the truck cooler a strong, durable shell that handles daily use. The sealing strip holds the lid firmly to cut down on cold air loss, and a convenient latch plus several ventilation openings help the door move easily and let heat out more quickly
  • Reliable Power Switch: With both 100–240V AC and 12/24V DC options, the portable freezer shifts easily between indoor and in-car power. A three-level battery setup helps reduce excessive draw on the vehicle system, and the low-noise build plus stable 45° operation support comfort during long journeys
  • Versatile Outdoor Use: Compact 21-quart/20L sizing allows a truck fridge to sit in the trunk, behind seats or in a truck bed with ease. The 12V compressor system is ready for outdoor use on uneven or sloped terrain, matching RV travel, campsites, boats, camping, fishing, and long road trips

This VEVOR compressor car fridge is best for road trips, camping, tailgates, and EV travel, where it keeps drinks and food cold without ice or soggy mess. The comments highlight low power draw, automatic low battery cutoff, and flexible use on 12 volt power, wall power, or portable power stations, with the app control and compact 21 quart size adding convenience. It can hold temperature for hours and even chill drinks near freezing. The main cautions are battery drain if used from a gas car with the engine off, and fit can be tight in smaller vehicles like a Tesla.

Common Questions (5)

  • In economy mode it reportedly draws about 30-45W, so a small power station can run it for hours and a 500Wh to 600Wh unit can keep it going for days in some setups. It also has low-battery shutoff, and solar can extend runtime for multi-day use.

  • Yes, it is used for camping, tailgating, concerts, road trips, and EV travel because it keeps food cold without ice and can run from vehicle power or a portable battery. Some users note it is especially convenient in EVs, while larger units may be better if you need more capacity.

  • Yes. It runs on 12V/24V vehicle power and standard AC wall power, which makes it usable in a car, at home, or on a campsite with a power station.

  • It does not need ice, so you avoid soggy food, melted-water mess, and constantly buying ice. The extra space that would have been taken by ice can be used for more food and drinks.

  • It can get drinks very cold and may freeze them, but it is better thought of as slowing thawing rather than replacing a true freezer. That makes it useful for keeping ice cream, drinks, and perishables cold on road trips or during a drive home.

As someone who tailgates NASCAR/Concerts often. I definitely would use one with a Power Station. Last weekend I bought 6 bags of ice. Started at 830 and went in at 1 and most of my ice was gone. It wasnt as hot as usual either. I have a decent coolers also. I'd get a larger one though. Just my humble opinion. Also would keep my food from getting soaked which happened to our kabobs.
I've returned 3 foam coolers that advertised "keeps ice for 72 hours". None could make it 24 hours. It's all junk these days if you get it from wally world.
Funny, for less than a Yeti, you can get the 58qt size!

Why would people use these instead of a cooler? I wouldn't want to chance draining my car battery and being stranded! Plus, ICE is super easy and cheap to get...
Too keep your bags of ice... Bags of ice. Not water with some ice floating around. 😆

How hard is to add wheels on all of these cheap units? Can't justify spending 50% to 100% more just to be able to move it easily.
No need on this Vevor 37 quart that I just bought. Wheels + app control + dual zone temp control. It was $10 cheaper last week when I bought it plus Cap 1 Shopping rewards and CC brought it to about $140 with direct drop ship from Vevor in four days. Cap 1 just sent me a new Aliexpress code for 33% off. Looking at Solar Generators right now on the website.

I once felt shared a similar opinion untill I actually tried one. Having popsicles when you are out camping/kids sports and it's 90°+ is amazing. We only had it connected to the vehicle while driving. It was connected to a Bluetti power station at all other times. It really doesn't use much power, 30-40watts. I'm also a fan of having drinks right on the cusp of freezing so it slushes up when you open it. Seriously, these things are awesome.

You have an endless supply of cold drinks because you can keep putting warm drinks in this thing to make them cold. Try that with a cooler and you'll quickly melt the ice.

Not that I'm interested in this cooler, but 78% 4 and 5 star reviews versus 8% 1 and 2 star reviews. I could live with ratio that if i was trying to determine to pull the trigger or not. IMO pissed off customers would be more likely to bother with a review.

Where I live a 'large' bag of ice is $8. I would not necessarily call that cheap if you need one more than once a week. We play soccer twice a week and drink beer after the game. You do the math. I still have none of these and keep spending on ice and I wonder if something like this will work hooked to an EV or a small solar generator.

These work great in EV's and using solar generators.
If you have a Tesla though, measure and measure again. A lot of Tesla owners complain that there is no good place to put these besides the very small ones.

FYI - These run off the 12V battery in an EV, just like a gas car..
