Trying to figure out why this item is 1/3rd the price of similarly priced Chefman Triple Cooker/Warmer. Any owners out there? I own an older version for >20 yrs which we use 2-3 times per year. Interested in purchasing to gift if it's dependable.

I previously purchased an air conditioner from a Walmart seller of the same name, listed as if new condition. It was well used, full of sawdust, stripped of accessories, reboxed, and still had the last return label on it when it arrived. At least since it was walmart I could return it.

I would be very careful. You might also want to google them.

They deal with a lot of overstocks and inventory left over from store closures. And they sell a lot of open box, refurbished and returned stuff as well, although this is listed as New. I've bought stuff from them before on eBay and they were great. You do get free returns with free shipping so you can always return the item if it appears used. Here's their eBay description:

"VIPOUTLET was established to provide consumers the opportunity to benefit from amazing deals on: new, over-stocked, open-box, and refurbished products from the nations largest retailers and manufacturers. Retailers and manufacturers provide products directly to VIPOUTLET to leverage our extensive remarketing channels. Sealed product is instantly made available to you for immediate purchase. If products arrive as open box VIPOUTLET refurbishes products to ensure they function according to the original manufacture's specifications. VIPOUTLET is North America's largest refurbisher of Retailers'/Manufactures' product; backing their work with a 90-day warranty to ensure a great user experience."

As of yet, I haven't had a bad experience with them.

I bought the projector from them and it sounded like it was full of loose parts. They are offering me to refund when I return the projector, but this has been a big waste of time.

The seller is really hit and miss. There will be those that claim that everything is perfect and flawless, and then there are those me who have received items that are beat to hell, weeks long delays with customer service, an orders they claimed were not cancelable even though they didn't have an item in stock, etc.

Yes, you can eventually get things taken care of but for me it's not worth the hassle to ever deal with these guys again. I like a deal as much as the next person here, but my time and frustration also have value.

2.5 qt is tiny. I guess it would be good for sauces or dips or similar. Worthless for food.
