The MF273dw is a compact black and white laser all in one that stands out for fast printing, wireless use, and automatic two sided printing. It works with AirPrint, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows devices, and the scanner is handy for everyday home or office tasks. Toner costs look manageable, with Canon 071 and 071H cartridges and cheaper third party options widely used. The main limits are that duplex scanning is not supported, the display and web setup can be frustrating, and Wi Fi can drop if it stays on all the time. A practical pick for light to moderate printing.
Home offices printing occasional documents from Mac, Android, or iPhone devices, because wireless printing and AirPrint work across those platforms.
Small offices that print a lot, because third-party toner works well and operating costs stay low with inexpensive cartridges.
Households wanting automatic two-sided page printing, because duplex printing is included and works without manual flipping.
Owners replacing inkjet printers, because laser printing avoids cartridges drying out during occasional use.
People who need two-sided scanning from the automatic feeder, because the feeder scans only one side at a time and requires manual flipping on the glass.
Heavy-volume offices pushing well past light-duty monthly limits, because the printer can fail under sustained 800-plus-page workloads.
Shoppers who want a clear front-panel toner gauge, because toner levels are not shown and replacement waits until prints fade.
People who need dependable Wi-Fi left powered on all day, because the connection can drop and require a power cycle.

The display is complete garbage. You'll be configuring this through the web interface which may be a challenge for some.

Please do NOT buy these for heavy use. Cannon stated duty cycle
"Recommended Monthly Print Volume: 200 to 2,000 pages"
If you are far inside that maximum, you might be fine. I have a client however that purchased 5 of these, and 3 failed within the first month when printing 800+ pages.
If you don't know much about printers, and you want cheap and reliable, Brother is all you need to know.
The Brother laser printers are known for reliability and cheap generic ink/toner. The interface is poor.
