The MF273dw is a compact black and white laser all in one that stands out for fast printing, wireless use, and automatic two sided printing. It works with AirPrint, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows devices, and the scanner is handy for everyday home or office tasks. Toner costs look manageable, with Canon 071 and 071H cartridges and cheaper third party options widely used. The main limits are that duplex scanning is not supported, the display and web setup can be frustrating, and Wi Fi can drop if it stays on all the time. A practical pick for light to moderate printing.
The printer can deliver fast laser printing performance compared with older models.
The printer supports automatic duplex printing for two-sided output.
The printer can print wirelessly from multiple device types across a home network.
The printer can use compatible generic toner, which can lower ongoing cartridge costs.
The ADF does not support duplex scanning, so each side requires separate scanning from the platen glass.
The printer may lose Wi-Fi connection when left on 24/7, and power cycling can be required.
Generic toner may not show toner levels in the front screen or web interface, which can delay replacement until prints fade.
Heavy-use workloads can cause early failures, so the duty cycle guidance matters for frequent high-volume printing.
