VipOutlet on Ebay has the TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus Open box for $152.72 (Good - Refurbished is also available at $137.08 but only 3 left when I last checked). The tablet comes with 8GB ram, 256GB storage, running Android 15, and people seems to be interested in it based on a quick search on Slickdeals. It was on sale on Amazon for $224 lowest (new and comes with case/stylus), but maybe it is worth saving $70 for a open box without case/stylus.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank
But yeah, it's fairly weak if you're doing anything heavy on it. I'll also say the paper mode is decent for comic stuff... But not nearly as good as e ink for text.

VIP outlet has a horrible reputation for missing and damaged items. Sure they offer free returns but it's a hassle. I vowed never to buy from them again. You're lucky if it arrives un damaged w/ absolutely no accessories. If you do get a working stylus buy a lottery ticket because you are lucky.
There is a reason it's so cheap.
seems like it's the same soc? kinda like this a bit more since it has 8gb ram.. gonna use it as a carry around house tablet

In one case, I bought an "open box" laptop from them. The trackpad was not working. I asked them question and no reply. I requested a return and I received a return label. Then I did my own research and found out it was a software issue, mostly due to Windows 11. I was able to download the latest driver and fix the trackpad. All these time, there was no response from the seller. At the end, I did not need to return the laptop.
Confirmed by AI and my own experience, you should not buy any "used", "refurbished" items from them. It is because the "refurbished" item you receive is out of anyone's control. It may be good. It may be bad.
However, you can try to buy "new" and "open box" items from them, if the price is good.
Summary:
"new" means new.
"open box" means Grade A refurbished.
"refurbished" means "it depends on your luck".
