It's surprisingly heavy and it's not easy to open and close. The curve of the blade does make it an effective cardboard box cutter.

I buy these for my crew. They cut boxes and holds a key ring. Attach it to your belt loop. Works great, blade needs sharpening weekly but dang convenient.

Bough this a year ago and I'm not even sure it was worth $4. It's surprisingly bulky and the curved blade has limited use. I can see this to clip on to a belt loop to cut box tape and not much else.
