S23u works good for me, resting in the console on extended wire hookup. Auto connects if bt is on and connects in 20ish seconds when head unit (old Sony) is already on

I bought this. Works great and has low latency with Apple CarPlay. The only issue is it doesn't register multiple phones. I also have a CarlinKit adapter in another car and you can select which phone it tries to pair to at start-up. Much better for shared vehicles. I keep the CarlinKit version in my car and gave this one to my son. He's the only one who drives his car.
