$1,752 original price? Come on let's be real, these haven't been over $800 on ebay in a year. Regularly under $600 on aliexpress as well.

Does anyone know if this is the Eco Worthy cubix 100 model? Or would this be a different model?

This is V3 not Cubix100. I think Eco is trying to sell off old inventory. The newer Cubix100's are going for $800ish on sale.

This was $574 just last week with code. Eco is having a Labor Day Sale on eBay with 20% off. But prices are much higher than AliE

Man AliE has some strange dynamic pricing going on. I just made a purchase for around $678. Now it's $713!

sjax are you saying you ordered the $574 deals which looked like V3 but received the cubix100? You also said two accounts - do you have 2 so you can use the discount codes multiple times? I want to buy Qnty 6 and only bought one so far.

Right, That's only believable if they are talking original price 5 years ago when $1500 to $2000 and even higher was common for a 48v 100ah battery. Prices have dropped crazy a lot for LFP batteries in recent years.

What happens if you connect this directly the solar input of your portable power station? Does it charge your portable power station at 480 watts?

That is correct. Both were the cubix 100 battery. I don't think there is any real difference other than labeling, but I guess it implies newer stock.

As for the accounts, you are correct again. I see some people able to buy multiple coupon items on ali with a single account but I have never gotten that to work.

I'm wholly unqualified to give any advice (on anything), but here's my thoughts anyway.

You would first need to be very sure of the specs of your specific power station and how it handles input power, otherwise damage is possible! And you should still follow fusing best practices, etc.

But to answer your question, It's not about the 5120 watts this battery can output (for any portable power station I've seen), but about the input capability of the power station. Your power station will have a voltage and amperage max on the solar input, which gives you your max input power. This is usually biased toward higher voltage, so heat and cable costs are kept down.

But the battery will never be able to provide more than either of those limits. So even on a big-boy Pecron F5000 which has like 6400 watts of input power, this battery will never provide that much as the F5000 is limited to 26 amps and gets to that big input number by allowing 180v input. The battery will always output it's 51.2v nominal and be limited by the 26 amps max that the f5000 will pull, giving you about 1,331.2watts in that case.

Now, that's not to say it has no benefit. I keep one of these connected to a Bluetti 200l all the time as it's a fraction of the cost of their batteries. In that case, the bluetti has a 1200 watt hard limit on solar input, which would limit this battery in itself. However, the 200l has a 15amp max input, so my battery, connected to the solar input, can only output it's 51.2v x 15 amps, for about 768 watts of input. In my case, it's perfectly adequate. I get a huge boost to storage and if I'm using, say 1500 watts from the power station, it's usually only for a limited time and the internal battery of the 200l is only discharging at the 750 watt deficit during that time.

These can be a fantastic way to increase the capacity of portable power stations for ridiculously less money than OEM extra batteries, but it's not as straightforward as any of us would like.

Thanks for response. It's helpful. My first battery is coming next week. I'll report what I got.
Yeah I want to buy 5 more. I suppose have to wait until new coupon comes out. But to pay $600ish per battery - even the V3 versions is much better than $750-$800.
The Cubix100 is slightly better than V3. Cubix has an auto shuttoff stop button in case of emergency. I watched a video - and it also says you can shutoff any battery from the App - do not know if this is both versions or only Cubix. And they changed the positive terminals to be red instead of orange (minor).

What power station do you have ?
It depends on the power station specs.
Most bigger power station will allow at least 60v which is enough because this 48v battery will go as high as 56v.
Another thing is how much amperage the power station will allow.
If you see your power station solar inputs as 60v 20amps max then you can expect 53v x 20amps= ~1060w
Take the battery wattage(usually 53v) x the amps and you can expect the wattage going in although some power station also cap the wattage at like ~1200w, etc...

Yeah AliE pricing is everywhere.
Usually I can buy the first item at the cheapest price and then the price will fluctuate.
