Visible One bundles unlimited 5G mobile service with home internet, and the main appeal is low-cost access to Verizon-backed speeds around 300 Mbps. The 300 Mbps tier is described as enough for typical households, with 4K streaming needing far less, and the price compares favorably with other Verizon and cable options. Availability looks highly address dependent, though, and the offer may require prior FiOS wiring or a FiOS-capable ONT. Support is another weak spot, since help appears limited to app chat and setup can be finicky.
People with a FiOS-capable home setup who can work through activation steps, because the service requires compatible equipment and uses the app to activate the gateway.
Households that need guaranteed availability at a specific address, because eligibility can change by location and some addresses are shown as unavailable.
The offer appears restricted to addresses that are already wired for FiOS but not currently active on FiOS service. Current FiOS customers may need to cancel first, and some addresses with FiOS still show the bundle as unavailable.
The plan is advertised at 300 Mbps, but one order flow reportedly showed download speed capped at 200 Mbps. For many households, 300 Mbps is enough for multiple users and 4K streaming, though actual performance depends on location and network load.
The checkout flow can show different products by address: some addresses return the same $100/2-month price with 5G Internet instead of fiber. The visible.com flow also advertises it as Visible Fiber, so the exact service depends on eligibility and address.
Yes. Open the Visible app, go to Account, then tap the blue "Activate your home internet gateway" prompt to continue setup. The gateway is shipped separately and may arrive a few days after ordering.
Well that's interesting. I enter an address that currently has Verizon FIOS and Visible says it's not available.
Edit: Tried neighbors addresses that I know dont have FIOS (they have Spectrum) and still says not available.
One reason maybe that the network is already at it's limit or oversubscribed. Visible website says 5G Internet is not available at my address even though I have Verizon 5G Internet service. Visible 5G is half the price of Verizon 5G Internet. I'm happy with my Visible mobile service and when my current Verizon 5G promotion ends I'm going to pursue this...
My same experience with these shysters, their system does everything possible to stop you from being a customer, and for some reason their system for signing up is a POS. Seems to be their owner Verizon as the problem. I tried taking Verizon up on a home 5G modem offer and everything was cool until they (supposedly) ran my credit (837ish FICO) and suddenly the guy at their store became a complete a@@hole and stopped talking with me, up until then he was licking my boots for business. No idea what's going on in Verizon's backend and they will not provide any way to find out, it's absurd. Visible had a similar pattern of "errors" and as noted they only use chat to communicate, which means their offshore script reading slaves have no way of fixing things if they even could. Gave up wasting time trying to give Visible our money and went to USMobile which has similar or better rates, phone CSRs that pick up literally in a couple minutes, and have gone above and beyond helping me through the several numbers I've ported over. Ironically I'm on Verizon service there, though I can switch to one of the other triopoly carriers in a few minutes as I wish within minutes. From my perspective, Verizon is a horrible company if you deal directly with them.

Is it any wonder Verizon admittted to losing 2.25 MILLION prepaid customers last year?
Visible One is a weird product... you can't join if you already have FiOS but you have to have a FiOS-capable ONT to get it. So you need to have had FiOS before. Or been wired up for it. So if you have FiOS currently you have to cancel first.
I had FIOS and still have the equipment but it still says I don't qualify.

The 300 Mbps tier can be sufficient for many households when streaming needs are modest.
The deal can be cheaper than some local Verizon internet pricing and Visible base plan pricing.
The Visible app provides a straightforward activation path for the home internet gateway.
A workaround ordering path may exist when the title wording does not match the actual Visible Fiber offering.
Visible can show the bundle as unavailable even when Verizon Fios or Verizon 5G service is already active at the address.
Address eligibility can change the offer from Verizon Fios fiber to 5G internet, so what you get may differ by location.
Customer support is limited to app chat with no phone support, which can be difficult during major problems.
Download speed may be capped around 200 Mbps even though the offer advertises 300 Mbps.

As a rule of thumb, 25 mbps per person is usually sufficient - so a 4 person household should be fine with 100 mbps.
For reference, streaming in 4k HDR only requires about 25 mbps, and most people aren't streaming more than one stream.
