These GC QR codes are hard to use in a store. Bar code were much easier to use at self checkout.

How long ago was that? I've used eGift in store and at self checkout. There are different instructions that the cashier needs to follow if I recall and the directions are actually in the notes of the eGift. You can see it online and in a printed version.

Last time I bought these Safeway refused to accept in person because of 'fraud'. Submitted a email to corporate and my states attorney general. They accepted the gift card and gave me another. Fyi in case something similar happens to people.
