I bought this set three years ago for the same price. Never used it ... Some people never learn about impulse buys...

I've noticed that with some of their products, the logo is no longer indicative of origin of manufacture. If the price looks suspiciously low, I always check.

Serrated steak knives should be banned.

Surely no one has actually spent $160 on this set? I have a non-serrated version of this set that I bought a decade ago for $28 or something. It's pretty nice.

I hate handwashing my blades. I got cheap Cuisinart steak knives...not serrated.
Therefore, I grab the cheap serrated ones from Sam's Club that I throw into the dishwasher.
That said, when I run them past the honing stick, the non serrated ones cut like a hot knife through butter.

I bought this set ten plus years ago, we bring it out during steak nights. They have held up well and you can put them in the dishwasher without worry, unlike many steak knives.

I got these around this price a decade ago too. I've always wanted to like them. They're good quality and attractive. The problem is the handles are too narrow and slippery. If your cutting hand gets greasy, it becomes downright dangerous to use. I would not buy them again. But I still can't convince myself to get rid of them. 🤣

I bought ~1 year ago. I don't recommend... Not very sharp, and the handles are too narrow, making them difficult to hold.

Same here - but six years ago and still have not used!
