So what's left, don't think about it, its an indictment of the book and its followers.

If corporate executives and shareholders would focus on making quality, safe products, with a fair profit in return, most of these regulations wouldn't be needed.
Again, corporations should give up their State privilege if they don't want responsibility with it.
The music got worse, much worse, and the greed used to be horrific when it was good, they were literally bribing people at radio stations to play certain songs, and yet, the product was good.
While morals and ethics have diminished in our life times, Cory and his blinders can't see the answers.
As I stated before, the last free range childhood generation was born in the 80s, Cory doesn't have answers for that.
I know for a fact that the "entertainment" industry intentionally suppresses some artists for socio-political reasons. There's only so much retread that an industry can do before quality suffers.
The payola has never stopped, of course, whether it is "legal" or not. Social engineering through "entertainment," especially music, which has unique properties in "influencing" people.

Did high energy costs and regulation in California create any of that? Or did it drive away jobs and and send them to Texas and China.
You know the answer.
The narrative of care doesn't wash anymore after Lindsay Clancy, and one look at europe, driverless cars that could be saving lives as they are already safer than the average drivers are banned in most european countries by regulation, and air conditioning is scarce leading to thousands of lives being lost.
Just look at the recent election results in Germany, the "care" is agreed to be not working.
"What ads?"
This bait-and-switch model is not transparent and users are given no indication of whether we've been put on a lesser intelligence tier model. This leads to the model being stupid and making mistakes and wasting our time and money. The FTC has been gutted and is too weak and powerless to go after these AI companies who are performing this bait-and-switch scam.
And instead of trying to make their models better, these American AI companies are sending their lobbyists to Washington D.C. in an attempt to perform regulatory capature and ban open-source AI from other countries (read: China) because of some false boogeyman scare story.
Evidently Amazon thinks you're a lazy, sick, fatso that will likely die imminently!
Also, any browser that has Ublock Origins as an extension will work at blocking ads from most services as well.
Brave does not use uBlock Origin; it uses its own native ad-blocking engine called Shields, which is written in Rust and built directly into the browser bypassing Chromium's Manifest V3 restrictions that limit third-party ad blockers. My grandparents are of the age that they are the teenagers in those black and white photos throwing milkshakes on black folk. Those same people are in government and have been running the country for forty years.
I don't know how you objectively measure that kind of thing though and record it over time.

The progressive stories told about the past are use to justify the narrative, nothing was good in the past to justify current policy, and usually failure at that.
Measures of social trust have fallen, while "morality" invented in the 60s is coming apart at the seams, simply through things as simple as body cams.
Who has been running the country since 60s? The boomers and the progressive church [youtube.com], its been well over 60 years now, and the judgement of all sides is that it is not working. The fixation about milkshakes is a distraction, bay area schools are closing from lack of children while test performance is in decline even as their church has become completely dominant.
The blinders are why we have the trope of aliens in media since the 50s always judging humanity by the standards of boomer morality. Even when separated by unfathomable space and time some how aliens are just boomers.
