I've purchased this exact light from this exact brand in 2022 from Amazon. They all still work for me. Brand is definitely older than 1.5 years

These things are horrible, I have 12 ordered from this brand in March. I think 2 are still working. Most are completely full of rust (I can only assume they aren't sealed properly).

In contrast I have 4-5 others from another brand purchased darn near 10 years ago that still work. These style lights can be made properly and last for years...just Aootek ain't going to be the one to do it.

promo code works for me for 8 pack. I bought this set 6mo ago and loved it. All are still working. The key is to shield them from rain.

I got these the last time, identical ones. they ALL got rain in them and many LEDs quickly fail.

How do others use them? I put them out by 2 trees to highlight the trees but after a few rains they even change their own setting and then stop working.

Unless you seal these with silicone they will fail after the first good rain. First batch I bought lasted 4 months. The sealed ones have been working for almost 2 years now

Moving mine to gutter downspouts or other eave protection. Drilled a very small hole in the bottom of a new one that got wet and quit working. Turned the hole pointing down and left it in the hot sun and now it works. May try that with some older ones.

The code worked for me, though I had to tap "add promo code" a second time. After initially adding the code, it said "promo code successfully applied" but the price didn't change in my cart. I clicked add promo code again and the price updated to the correct discount 👍🏼

I'll witness your experience as well. The m_pow ones were the best, once they dropped off Amazon the other brands last a year or two at most. A couple of my m_pow lights are probably near a decade old. Unfortunately a few years ago baseball size hail took out most of mine.

OK/one by one removing some of them from the fence and moving to a protected area. Drilling a drain hole and using a large tube of Gorilla glue on all edges. Even around the button being careful not to stop the button action.

On the new ones that are comimg, I may skip the drain hole.

Today I am removing one in very bad shape to see if I can raise it from the dead.

It might be possible for these to last a long time out of the driving rain??????????????????? I have 3 that look aweful but still work!

You got to either screw hem down or I use fishing line on white vinyl fence and hang them from the fence caps (tuck the line in the caps)
