Bought this at $212 and a little CB from a popular CB website. Haven't installed it yet, but it looks impressive, it's HUGE. Two large fans should help keep it cool.

I'm curious what the package/manual says about the current carrying capacity of the provided cables.

By my approximate calculations, the DC end (to the battery) current would be 120 amps or higher at the rated 3000W (3000W/25VDC=120A). Higher depending on efficiency. I think that would require 1/0 AWG cable or if cable length short maybe 2 AWG cable. Can the inverter even handle the lugs on cable of that size?

It doesn't look like it. So I'm curious about what the practical limits are of the inverter due to cable size.

Manual agrees with you. DC terminals are M6. Spec is 3 AWG (25 mm²), RNB60-6 rings, leads under 3 m, and two or four runs in parallel depending on 120 vs 230 V. The included cables won't carry a continuous 3000 W. I won't run it there — I already have a 150 A ANL and 150 A busbars, so that's the practical ceiling. Plan is a short 2 AWG (or twin 4 AWG) with proper M6 rings, not 1/0 forced onto a 6 mm stud.
