Don't buy this garbage read the one star reviews. The safe has been reported to be opened by kids and adults who haven't even registered their fingerprint. Imagine that for what supposed to be a gun safe, so this product is actually a threat to life and safety

Uses micro USB connector. For people that hate having multiple cords dangling around, that might be a problem.

The larger 10"x12" version uses a USB C connector. I have the larger model and it seems to work as advertised...but I don't have kids living in the house any longer.

I got the larger one. I have try with different finger prints after I register mine. It will not open unless I actually use the finger that I register with. Code also worked as expected. No issues so far.

This is in regard to the one I received. I can't said for what others got.

plenty but as you eat them your fingerprint will likely expand and it'll stop working

I got the same one last month. No issues. I tested it with random code and it did not open. I tried using my fingers that were not registered and it did not open. It only open with the correct code or the correct registered finger.
