You'd be surprised. Did some suspension work and used this as a test. Was shocked at how little I had to grab the more powerful 20V impacts such as 921 and 941. For just lugs and such, plenty of power.

I have owned both this and the 3/8. They can rip pretty hard especially with a 5ah battery. I get your point but if you have a full set of 1/2 and bought this, I don't think you'd be disappointed. I got rid of them because i needed the money and already have a 3/8 M12 Stubby and the 20v dcb891 1/2. I own a Ram 1500 and I could change tires and brakes with just the 12V stuff alone but then I wouldn't have an excuse to bring out the Big guy. I get your sentiment and in the perfect world you'd ideally get the 3/8 but sometimes thats not what your set up for.

Same. I had to sell mine off, but I could see myself picking it up again. Great little Impact. I'm a sucker for compact tools, but I have no problem buying the DeWalt 12v stuff and recommending it to others. I have had both impacts and the 3/8 ratchet and both the screwdriver and the 5-in-1 multi-head drill. All were great tools. Currently I only have the Screwdriver as I have way too many tools and had to get rid of some overlap in my collection. I will probably buy this in the 3/8 again someday.
