Not available in most places... Plus T-Mobile has been pretty anti-consumer recently (i.e. not honoring their price locks and price guarantee) So i am not sure how good of a deal this is. AT&T has 1gb for $50 bucks +200 back as cash card. Sounds like a better deal to me...

Unlikely to be able to pick and choose your fiber provider, if you can get fiber at all. I'll take any company just to have it.

I got their basic plan (300MB speed). It actually works well, and the speed goes up to 500MB.

Yes, at least for Aurora, Colorado I don't see how we can have fiber in existing neighborhoods without digging up streets and good luck with that. I think Aurora might be stuck with coax forever. If there was a fiber provider, ANY fiber provider, I would say please switch to it as long as the pricing is competitive.

Agree with that statement. I actually filed an fcc complaint about no longer getting the best phone deals same as new customers on gogo 5g plus. Used to be a great company... now useless.

I don't recommend their 5G home Internet.(it suggests that if fiber isn't available)
Doesn't play well with work from home authentication and gaming is super laggy. And I have a cell tower a few blocks from my house and still had issues

Fwiw, we signed up well in advance of T-Mobile even digging the lines in the neighborhood. We got $70/month for 2GB with a price lock for 10 years

Who here actually has that flexibility? I've never seen that before for residential service (having one fiber line and getting to choose who your provider is), but doesn't mean there might be some area that has that.

You never know. I thought we'd never have it here, but my little community got AT&T Fiber a decade ago, way before any much larger communities had it for 70+ miles in any direction. Unfortunately, we got it because we experienced a natural disaster; AT&T decided it made more sense to install fiber rather than to repair the old infrastructure. That said, we got rid of AT&T Fiber and switched to T-Mobile 5G home internet a couple years ago because it was half the price. Speed was obviously better with AT&T Fiber, but even now when we have five people in the house all streaming, gaming and doing zoom meetings, the T-Mobile 5G home internet has been very adequate. Obviously everyone is going to have different results in their area. I imagine whenever we relocate we'll have to do another internet provider assessment.
