Community Reviews
This rechargeable magnetic LED work light is a handy, lightweight helper for close-up repairs and everyday tasks, with enough output to make sink drain work and other quick jobs easier. The battery can last a couple of hours on high and over 8 hours on low, and the form factor is similar to Harbor Freight versions. Weaknesses include dim lighting for its size, especially the tip LED, along with reports of weak base magnets, cracking hinges, and occasional soldering issues. It feels better suited to light-duty use than rough handling.
Common Questions (4)
It provides light, but several comments describe it as not very bright, especially the single LED at the tip. A similar Harbor Freight light is described as noticeably brighter, while the low setting on this style can still be useful for close work.
It is handy for everyday tasks, but it is not a heavy-duty light. Reported weak points include cracking plastic at the hinge, weak base magnets, and occasional poorly soldered internal wires, though some units have still worked for years with minor repairs.
They are described as very similar in appearance to Harbor Freight versions, but not identical. Harbor Freight models are also described as sturdier and brighter, so the Coquimbo lights may be a cheaper lookalike rather than a direct match.
Battery life is reported as a couple of hours on the highest setting and over 8 hours on low. Another comment calls the battery life horrible, so runtime may depend heavily on brightness setting and unit quality.

I've been using leds and led flashlights since the 90's. I have bought $150 surefire flashlights 15 plus years ago. That's a lot of money. I have tried many styles of led lights from many brands. These are very lightweight for their size which concerns me when it comes to battery size/capacity. It provides light but the light is not bright. Especially the single led at the tip. That led is dimmer than most single led's I played with in the 90s.
I have similar style light from harbor freight and that light puts out some decent light.
