There was a previous deal for this very long tripod selfie stick with a shutter remote for $7 that is expired. This is an upgraded version with a shutter remote, which is supposed to have more functionality than just taking a picture. I'm getting it to have a longer tripod/selfie stick if needed, I have a 37" tripod/selfie stick and while this is acceptable for most situations, I found myself wishing it were longer, so this will accomplish that.
