yep. I've seen way too many stories. And Amazon doesn't really care. Chances are you'd be able to get your money back, but most likely at the expense of having your Amazon account closed and your address flagged.

True, I ordered MSI Vanguard 5070 on Amazon show as new. But received a used dusty one and it doesn't work. If Amazon show low stock (1-2) and "Frequently returned item" indicator. You will have a very high chance of getting an open box customer returned item with unknown condition.

Sold by Amazon has been safe for me but their seller marketplace is frankly worse than every other mainstream retailer.
