I know its got some good reviews, but some red flags for me like stating that you can charge at 48A on a 14-50 plug with a 60A breaker and no GFCI (it's in one of the images, but other text does imply that for 48A charging you need to hardwire). you can't put a 60A breaker on a 14-50 plug (the 50 in the name is for 50A). And you must derate to 80% for continuous use so it's really going to be 40A charging on a 50A breaker on a 14-50 plug. Also, when plugged in you must be GFCI (yes I know about nuisance tripping, etc, but code says GFCI and they should be stating that even if many people install without a GFCI). Hardwire doesn't require the GFCI.

It's not even clear to me how this unit would be hardwired and it it contains the cable to do so. Asking Amazons Rufus AI talking about cutting off the plug or ordering the hardwired version (which doesn't exist on Amazon)
