That's not how Slickdeals works. By your logic, if there isn't a current sale MSRP is a deal and should be posted.

That is how Slickdeals works. When I'm in the market for something I need, Slickdeals is the 1st place I search. I guess you would rather pay full price if it's not the lowest price ever.
