I use mines with a 60V 8ah battery, cut down a 30Ft tree with ease and cut it down into smaller pieces for firewood and still had 2 bars left. Bought mine as a bare tool,
That being said, this unit is handy for cutting down smaller trees and brush and its small size is its advantage. Can be wielded easily and makes those smaller jobs a lot more manageable than with a larger/heavier saw.
However once the trees get to like.. medium size.. you are gonna wanna use a larger saw.
Right tool, right job.
