I'm not sure how this is saving anything? I guess it makes sense if you don't have enough points for a free entree (1625 pts where I am).

I could be crazy, but I've had this in my exchange for a few months now, though it was just a nornal exchange seeing as its basically half of a free entree.

TD for your misleading post. The part in bold makes it sound like you can get a free entree at 1/2 the number of points. All they did is introduce a new reward that covers half the cost of the entree after you redeem 815 pts.
