Although I'm sure there is possibly one or two SD'er who could benefit from this deal...I'm sure NO ONE has Rock Glue Binder set up as an alert!
Community Reviews
This landscaping glue is mainly used to lock down mulch and rock, especially on walkways, pea gravel, and windy spots, and it can make stone colors pop with a wet look. It seems to bond best on sharp edged rock and lighter applications, while round stones, heavy foot traffic, and rainy weather can weaken it or wash it down over time. It does not kill existing weeds by itself, so beds need prep first. The promo code still works, though the Amazon app may require tapping the arrow to apply it.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, it can bond pea gravel fairly well and also makes stone colors pop with a wet look. Larger or rounder stones are harder to hold, especially if they are loosely packed or exposed to rain and traffic.
It can work on rocks and mulch, but rain can weaken it and reactivation may let stones scatter again. For walkway or high-traffic use, it may last only a week or two in wet conditions, while sharp-edged rocks hold better than round stones.
It is not permanent and can break down over time, with some users expecting reapplication after about a year or two. In wetter conditions it may fail much sooner, while dry areas and properly packed sharp rock can extend the hold.
The code still works, but in the Amazon app you may need to tap the arrow in the promo code box before pressing Continue. If the code appears not to work, that extra step is the fix mentioned in the thread.
It does not kill existing weeds by itself. The practical approach is to remove or kill weeds first, then apply thick enough mulch or rock; the glue can help suppress new growth, but it wears off over time and may need reapplication.

Does anybody know how this stuff holds up under lots of foot traffic?
The thing with arborist chips - you don't know what you'll get or what's in it. I'd save it for garden mulch and hope there aren't a ton of seeds in it. If you can let it bake a year or two as 2 yards, you'll get a lot of heat to sterilize the mulch. I don't mind the chips, though...that invites beneficial microbes and critters to come in make a home in your flower beds.
