Looking for a new washer but the reviews for this one are terrible and Costco can't seem to get rid of them. To be honest, while improved, the Lowes reviews aren't much better.
Not by much.
If you are married(with kids) and your spouse does the laundry.
Do not get something that is prone to breaking down.
(look at wait times for repairs based on reviews)
If you are not handy and/or can't fix this item yourself...DON'T get it.
Repairmen out of warranty is $200+ just to show up.
Appliances are already a crapshoot even with 4.5+ ratings.
Add in the Human Factor(misuse) and those reliability ratings are reduced significantly.
Learned the hard way. Used to provide "Nice" HIGH RATED W/D for tenants(high end homes).
After 2-3 years problems would start...Yet MY units work just fine no issues.
Now it's just W/D Hookups provided in leases even if there are existing units in houses.
